Hebron officials report Canal Road multifamily development plans and 2024 paving priorities

Village Administrator Jung-Han Chen reported at the May 22 council meeting that the Village met with developers proposing a multifamily project on Canal Road and that developers have begun rights-of-way work.
"They have begun working on the rights-of-way and will let us know when the street will need to be closed to put in a water line extension. He said the street is expected to be closed for no more than two days," Chen said.
Chen also said the Village is reviewing the 2024 street paving program, which may include Enterprise Drive, Deacon Street, north and south 6th Street, and selected areas at Evans Park. He said the Village will follow up with developers and with the Ohio Department of Transportation regarding paving on US 40.
No firm closure dates were set at the May 22 meeting; Chen said the developers will notify the Village when a short closure will be required for the water-line extension.
