Jennifer Stark, the council's treasurer, handed out the May 11, 2026 treasurer’s report and said the council has received the remainder of its state funding and that money remaining in a town account must be spent by June 30.
That deadline framed a brief discussion of small office purchases: Jill Cole will research stationery prices and Marion Tinney will purchase a case of copy paper for the office. Stark said she will send a letterhead file to Cole to support newsletter production and communications work.
Jim Alden moved to accept the treasurer’s report and Jill Cole seconded the motion; the minutes record the motion and second but do not record the final vote tally for that motion. The treasurer’s funding update was the primary budget item on the agenda for the meeting, which began at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Town Hall and concluded at 6:45 p.m.
