The Zachary Mayor and Council on July 9 approved a package of project and development items, including RFC 023 (electrical changes to exterior entry canopy lighting), RFC 024 (an owner-requested roller shade at the records area), authorization for two amendments to the Zachary Commercial Park agreement, and a planning recommendation for ZOI CS-5-24 (a flag-lot subdivision of portions of the George Lormand property into Lots L-1 through L-4).
RFC 023 was moved by Councilwoman Ambre DeVirgilio and seconded by Councilman John LeBlanc; RFC 024 was moved by Councilwoman Brandy Westmoreland and seconded by Councilman John LeBlanc. Council authorized Mayor David McDavid to enter into and sign the commercial park agreement including two amendments after Councilwoman Ambre DeVirgilio moved the measure and Councilwoman Jennifer Boyd seconded. The council also approved a recommendation of no objection for ZOI CS-5-24; Councilwoman Jennifer Boyd moved and Councilman James Graves seconded.
The ZOI agenda text lists the acreage proposed for subdivision as 2.065 acres, 1.29 acres, 1.68 acres and 27.985 acres into Lots L-1 through L-4. The minutes record unanimous votes for each item. The council held only brief discussion on the Planned Urban Development ordinance update and took no action at this meeting.
