The Hoosac Valley Regional School Committee was notified that the district treasurer, Mr. Jetty, will retire effective June 30, 2026. Administration representatives said Mr. Jetty has served in the treasurer role since 2008 and has worked with multiple districts during his tenure.
District staff reported they are conducting outreach to local finance professionals, including contacts associated with the Massachusetts Treasurer Association, to identify qualified candidates. The administration said it anticipates presenting several candidates for committee consideration later this year. Committee members also expressed intent to formally recognize Mr. Jetty at a future meeting for his long service.
No formal appointment was made at the March 23 meeting; committee members asked that recognition of retirees be added to the agenda for next month.
