Jonesboro council approves Act 776 appropriations documents, adopts 2024 compliance questionnaire after audit-bidding discussion

The Jonesboro council met with Mayor Harris presiding and approved motions to authorize signing documents for an Act 776 appropriations project and to adopt the 2024 Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire. Council members also briefly discussed whether to solicit bids for the city audit before approving the questionnaire.

Nia Johnson moved to authorize signing all documents related to the Act 776 appropriations project for a water metering system and road improvements; Robbie Siadek seconded the motion. The council voted in favor and the motion passed with no discussion.
