Council delays Industrial Drive bid, discusses streets list and calls for action on leaking trash trucks

Multiple council members favored escalating the issue beyond phone calls.

No formal vote was recorded on a demand letter; the mayor said he has template demand letters that staff can adapt and reissue. The mayor also summarized a list of streets the council plans to prioritize, including Shepherd Street and Joel Street, and said staff will seek authorization to advertise for bids once technical issues are resolved.

Council members requested follow‑up from staff about contractor performance, timelines for rebundling and the next special meeting where bids and the streets list will be reconsidered.
