VINTON, La. โ The Town of Vinton Mayor and Council met Sept. 17 at City Hall. Mayor Marcus E. Renfrow called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., led the group in prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Council Member William "BB" Loyd moved to approve the minutes of prior meetings; Council Member Lindsey Stanley seconded the motion and it carried. City Clerk Brandi Patin presented the Administration Department report and submitted the town's bills for August 2024, listed in the minutes as totaling $124,291.63. Loyd moved to approve payment of the August bills; Stanley seconded, and the motion carried.
