Greene County approves up to $300,000 advance to North Greene Utilities pending TDEC reimbursements

County documents in the meeting packet say the utility has already received ARP payments of $383,384 but has an additional $565,091 outstanding. The advance is intended to help the utility pay contractors in the short term so needed repairs and upgrades can continue without cash‑flow interruptions.
The resolution requires the North Greene Utilities board to formally agree to repay the county upon receipt of the TDEC/ARP reimbursement. The action passed on a recorded vote.
