Tinian delegation flags time-sensitive DR community block grant and reports visit by U.S. Senate staff

So I hope that we can meet as a delegation and with the leadership to identify possible avenues for this money to be to ensure that it stays in the senatorial," King Neighbors said on the record.
King Neighbors also reported that staffers from U.S. Sen. Jim Banks of Indiana — Charles Morrison and Kevin Gang — visited the island to engage with local leadership regarding economic and energy issues, including discussions about Department of Defense footprints and storm recovery. "We visited the power plant. We visited the seaport and they saw the remnants of the effects of Super Typhoon Loku," he said.
