The committee reported the town has approved a raffle application for a dog portrait; timing and promotional plans will be finalized to coordinate with other fundraising efforts. The Foundry has offered to host an indoor event; the Friends 501(c)(3) will consider that opportunity as part of ongoing fundraising and event planning.
The committee also discussed check-acceptance policies and agreed that checks made out to “West Stockbridge Dog Park” (rather than the Friends group) may be acceptable if properly endorsed; the group will confirm details with the bank. The Facebook page will be renamed to reflect the broader community nature of the organization, and website updates will add brick campaign and farmers market donation information.
