During the docket call presided over by Judge David D. Wolfe, the court resolved several procedural matters and reset several hearings.
The clerk and the court noted multiple cases where defendants had not been served and the matters would remain on the docket until service is completed, including KC Show v. Mark Goer and Alicia Hall v. Darnica Hillsman. In the protection case Paula Ays v. Scott Gregory, the court said the ex parte order remains in effect until the defendant is served and instructed the petitioner to contact the sheriff if the defendant returned to the residence.
In Ashley Curtis v. James Mard, the petitioner informed the court she had consulted counsel and the court reset the contested order‑of‑protection hearing to July 27 to allow counsel to prepare. The court also approved a parties’ agreement in Kilibru v. Kilibru to consolidate a criminal no‑contact order with an associated divorce action and maintain the protective order pending the divorce hearing.
The court took a short recess for chambers conference on one matter and then concluded the docket call.
