The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority heard project updates on June 30 about the county water treatment plant and the county clinic/community center.
A staff member reported that work on the backup generator at the water treatment plant is underway; crews determined the regulator that controls gas flow from the tank to the generator is too small to support even a 25% load and must be upgraded. The staff member also said the old treatment-plant building is being stripped out to prepare the structure to serve as the public works maintenance shop for water and sewer operations.
On the clinic/community center, Randy said crews are still waiting on parts for the X-ray room and machines and are finishing tile work and the parking lot; there is not yet a set completion date. Board members said they are pushing to get closer to completion and are scheduling a construction coordination meeting for the clinic next week at 10 a.m.
The chair noted that meeting minutes were not available in the packet due to a server issue and solicited public comment; none was offered. The meeting adjourned at 9:55 a.m.
