The Wellfleet Conservation Commission approved a certificate of compliance for a Daniel Road site on June 17 after staff confirmed that the property owner had completed required plantings to abandon a footpath through an isolated wetland.
Staff said they visited the site and verified the requested plantings had been installed in the footpath area; the work addressed a prior special condition requiring restoration of that corridor. A commissioner asked for confirmation of what species were planted and staff said photos had been provided. A motion to approve the certificate of compliance was moved, seconded and carried unanimously.
The commission closed the hearing on that item and recorded satisfaction of the special conditions related to the vernal-pool footpath.
