M. Pennington had emailed ahead of the meeting to report that village workers found the seasonal flowerpots were beginning to deteriorate. Board members discussed buying large wooden or concrete pots that could remain year-round and be decorated for all seasons. The minutes say members will individually research prices and options and bring recommendations to the next meeting.
On the scholarship the board agreed C. Carpenter will post the scholarship announcement to the DDA’s Facebook page and M. Smith will notify Bellevue and Olivet schools; no applications will be reviewed until spring as previously scheduled.
