Delaware County Regional Wastewater board approves claims and authorizes bond-interest transfer

The Delaware County Regional Wastewater board approved its previous meeting minutes and authorized payment of claims totaling $264,290.69 for the period ending June 25, 2026.

At the meeting Chair led the treasurer’s report, which listed a cash operating balance and an improvement fund balance of $2,760,214.24, a TIF transfer of $9,411 and an Indiana Bond Bank transfer of $18,755.55. The treasurer also noted five CDs rolled on a regular rotation of roughly $300,000 each. After the report the board moved and voted to approve the claims payment.

Board members discussed a Bank of New York construction account—roughly $5,008.67 plus subsequent interest—held under State Revolving Fund (SRF) control. Staff advised contacting SRF to determine the correct disbursement procedure or to have SRF issue a check to the district. On the committee’s recommendation, the board approved closing the construction account and transferring the accrued balance into the district’s bond interest account to offset scheduled bond transfers.

A formal motion carried to transfer $5,867.31 to the Indiana Bond Bank bond interest account. The motion passed with no opposition recorded.

The meeting packet also showed ongoing CD interest earned since the district began rotating investments, reported as $155,007.34 to date. No additional public comment or litigation actions were recorded on the claims or transfer items. The board adjourned after completing the agenda and scheduling follow-ups for procurement quotes and contract negotiations.
