Carleton council appoints Terry Feldpausch to fill vacant seat and administers oath

The Carleton Village Council appointed Terry Feldpausch to fill the vacant council seat and the clerk administered the oath at the council’s meeting on Dec. 2, 2025.
President James Penix introduced the procedural item and Councilmember Terry Burkardt moved to nominate Feldpausch to the council; Debbie Stolkey seconded. The nomination passed by voice vote. Clerk Aimee Wiedbrauk then administered the oath of office and Feldpausch joined the council table for the remainder of the meeting.
The appointment fills the seat left by Lena Kaczmarek. Council members noted the choice during the meeting and welcomed Feldpausch to service. No objections to the appointment were recorded on the motion vote.
The council moved on to other business after completing the oath and the paper record will reflect Feldpausch as a seated council member going forward.
