Board approves new and annual ATV/UTV routes after tribal and ad hoc review

Public Works staff reported that 82 county roads were recommended for ATV/UTV authorization and discussed whether to move to a multi‑year approval model; the board retained annual approvals for now. A motion to approve the existing annual routes and a second motion to approve the new ATV/UTV routes were each made and carried by voice vote.
What happens next: staff will finalize route signage and the annual authorizations; the board kept the option to revisit multi‑year approvals in future sessions.
