Board members and staff discussed safeguards they want in place before granting any extension, including documented timelines and confirmations of design and permitting. Jim Wilusz and Matt Puntin confirmed those safeguards and said they will return to the board with details at the May 27 meeting.
The board agreed as a condition that no additional people may move onto the property until a new system is installed and approved. No formal vote to grant an extension was taken at the April 28 meeting; the matter will return for further consideration.
