Mr. Martin, who identified himself as a Bonner County resident, asked: "Is the ambulance district fully staffed? And if not, how soon do they expect to be fully staffed?" He said he raised the question because summer months bring increased activity.
A district staff member responded on the record: "For our staffing numbers, we are fully staffed and then we start staffing our Hope Station today and that is fully staffed as well through the month of July and there's just a couple holes from vacations in August that I'm working on filling, but otherwise we are fully staffed." The speaker noted active steps to cover scheduled vacations but did not give a firm date for filling August vacancies.
There was no further public comment and the meeting adjourned at 8:34 a.m. The board did not take additional action or vote on staffing during the session.
