City Manager Mark Musselwhite and Mr. Popham recommended that Demorest apply for Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) funding to repair sections of Laurel Avenue, Fisk Avenue and West Central Avenue. The application deadline is Feb. 1, 2026.
