The St. John the Baptist Parish School Board approved changes to its Student Code of Conduct and Attendance Handbook and adopted revisions to the 2025–26 Discipline Matrix during the Aug. 7 meeting.
Ms. Kendria Spears presented the recommended revisions to both documents. A motion by Triche, seconded by Wallace, approved the Student Code of Conduct and Attendance Handbook revisions by a 9–0 roll call with two members absent. A separate motion to approve the Discipline Matrix revisions also passed on a 9–0 roll call with two absences.
The approvals give district staff authority to implement the updated conduct and discipline policies for the coming school year.
