Marquette County raises dog license fees to $6 and $11, effective Jan. 1, 2026

Stat. §174.05. The board specified the fee increase will go into effect Jan. 1, 2026.
The measure passed by roll call: Ayes 15; Noes 1 (Abby Swan); Absent 1. County officials said the change aligns Marquette County's fees with surrounding counties and was approved by the Executive and Finance Committee for board consideration.
The county clerk will update ordinance language in Section 53.09 A to reflect the new fees.
