The Hart Board of Education on Oct. 20 designated the superintendent search as a standing discussion item and adjusted its November schedule around the superintendent’s upcoming retirement.
Board members agreed they will contact the district’s superintendent-search firm representative individually with questions. Kelli Campagna told trustees that the board typically holds two meetings in November—one to conduct the superintendent evaluation and a regular meeting—but requested guidance this year because of the superintendent’s retirement. The board voted to cancel the Nov. 3 meeting and will meet only on Nov. 17.
No formal hiring decisions were made at the Oct. 20 meeting; the search remains ongoing and procedural.
