Resident says DCA draft is inaccurate, recounts Division of Fire Safety meeting and recent staffing changes

Robert then described recent operational changes in the local fire district: he said that on June 21 the department began 24-hour shifts, seven days a week, covered by "Ky Firefighters only"; he said the district now has six career firefighters who have command certifications and that three firefighters recently passed the state Fire Instructor I test, which enables them to train other firefighters.
Robert also said that because of these changes, off-duty Woodbridge Fire District One firefighters are no longer needed for overnight coverage in Fire District 4, and that auto-aid arrangements remain in place for smoke conditions and structure fires. He urged that the council and public be aware that the DCA draft does not reflect these changes.
