Farm show recap: attendance, volunteer repairs and donated materials

S6, a committee member, reported to the board that the farm show ran ‘‘pretty well’’ despite rain early in the week and that organizers adjusted operations to support vendors, including offering free or donation-based entry on Friday to boost turnout. “I believe we had, like, a 105 come through the gate, Friday,” S6 said, and added that a few tractors and equipment were down but vendor support remained strong.
S6 said the club will repair yard damage where the sawmill was once the ground dries sufficiently and credited volunteers and the farm club for donating saw boards and helping to replace tie-out boards for 4-H cattle needs. S1 confirmed Dustin Simon repaired a post on the grandstands and that saw boards are available for tie-outs.
The board had no additional questions and thanked S6 for the update.
