Maureen Cosgrove-Deery, a trust member, reported that several issues were identified, with the heating and air-conditioning systems described as the most concerning.
Cosgrove-Deery said Senator Mike Barrett had expressed an interest in meeting with NOAH about the property. David Model, a trust member who joined during the Benfield discussion, recommended the trust pursue a formal contract with NOAH to provide incentives for the organization to address large maintenance items. Trustees agreed on the need to identify and itemize specific maintenance needs and discussed creating a small working group to coordinate efforts with NOAH, the Town Administrator and Town Counsel.
No formal motion or directive to negotiate a contract was recorded; the discussion ended with trustees agreeing to develop an issues list and consider the working-group approach at a follow-up meeting. The trust adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
