The Dover Planning Board unanimously appointed Josie Danielski, a sophomore at Dover‑Sherborn High School, as the high school student member of the Tree Preservation Committee for a two‑year term. Member Val Lin introduced the nomination and moved the appointment; Vice Chair Jody Shue seconded. The board recorded a 5-0-0 vote.
Town Planner Melissa SantucciRozzi briefed the board on the FY2027 Planning Department budget and thanked Vice Chair Shue for advocacy at the Warrant Committee and at an open hearing. She updated members on draft warrant articles for Annual Town Meeting, including ADU Amendments and revisions to the Site Plan Review Bylaw, and said she will circulate a memo outlining the key topics for the April 6 public hearing. The board is scheduled to vote on the Site Plan Review bylaw at its April 13 meeting.
SantucciRozzi also announced a Housing Development Study public forum on March 31, 2026 (via Zoom), the first of three forums led by the Housing Task Force in collaboration with Barrett Planning Group. Board of Selectmen liaison Robyn Hunter encouraged residents to participate, describing the study as community-driven.
Other administrative items: the board approved February 23 meeting minutes by roll call vote, the Planning Department is continuing to upload historical applications into OpenGov (a tutorial will be scheduled after Town Meeting), and members reviewed future business items including multiple property matters and upcoming meeting dates (April 6, April 13, April 27). The meeting adjourned at 7:36 PM.
