At the Jan. 6 meeting visitor Judy Nichols told council members that Brush Creek Mill will be shut down through April and that the building is available for rent. She said proceeds from recent Christmas events go toward the building’s operational costs, while proceeds from a golf fundraiser support youth activities and annual youth grants.
Staff reported a credit on resident Lydia Walker’s water bill; the council agreed to apply the credit to her garbage service. The council also approved selling an older village laptop to Brenda South for $20 after it is erased; President Dave Hornbacher moved the sale and Trustee Steve Orlandi supported the motion.
Those items were handled as routine operational matters; council members adjourned the meeting at 6:34 p.m.
