Rebecca Hanson, identified as the municipal energy manager, said the grant funding would pay for design work, an engineering review of prior recommendations, investigation of whether an electrical service upgrade is required and preparation of bid documents to support future construction grants or procurement. Hanson said a prior larger grant application had been unsuccessful and that this technical assistance award is intended to refine the project and strengthen future funding proposals.
A motion to authorize the application and use of digital signatures was made and approved without recorded opposition.
