Commissioners expressed surprise at the size of the new ask and asked staff to bring the district back to explain cost drivers (fuel, contractor equipment, acreage, frequency) before the next workshop.
The court closed the workshop by scheduling additional budget workshops for August and noting that a public hearing on the proposed budget will be held July 30.
