The MOU includes a cost‑sharing arrangement and was approved with a motion by Council member Zupp‑Smith, seconded by Council member Logan; the council also directed deletion of the last two sentences under the MOU’s management section. The motion carried unanimously.
Council members treated the MOU as an interim administrative step while a formal intergovernmental (28E) agreement is finalized. No dollar amounts or the length of the cost share were specified in the meeting record.
