Chairman Erich Kretzinger called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. and Supervisors Shawn Bryant and Scott Longhorn were present. Bryant moved and Longhorn seconded approval of the agenda and then of the consent agenda; both motions carried on unanimous votes.
The consent agenda formally approved hiring Beth Hill as a PRN dispatcher at $25.55 per hour, effective June 21, 2026; Cassidy Stone as assistant engineer at an annual salary of $95,000, effective July 1, 2026; and Alaina Allen as conservation naturalist at $22.20 per hour, effective June 22, 2026. The board also authorized signing 2026 applications for Homestead, Homestead 65+, Military and Disabled Veterans property tax credits and exemptions as recommended by the Boone County Assessor.
The minutes list rescission and abatement of mobile-home taxes for three accounts (Anton Zaccone VIN #1260FB3112A1411M7, 2021–2026, $580; Sandra Tamez VIN #7549, 2004–2026, $2,394; Lisa Cassady VIN #8094, 2006–2026, $2,379).
