Garcia said the Iowa Department of Transportation will present at a future council meeting in August regarding the HWY 59 bridge replacement. Garcia also reported that the YMCA declined an offer for its director position and will advertise locally, and that the Fire and Sheriff’s departments conducted controlled buys at local fireworks stands.
