The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors approved routine meeting business on Dec. 22, including the agenda, minutes from Dec. 15, claims and the payroll register for the period ending Dec. 13, 2025.
The auditor said claims were prepared and requested approval; the board recorded a motion and second and approved the claims as presented. The payroll register was similarly approved. The transcript records that motions were made, seconded and that the motions passed; it does not record individual mover names or a roll-call tally.
In a brief public works update, staff reported crews were stockpiling rock while snow limited some work, removed beaver dams and carried out surface tasks, but that underground work is difficult in current conditions.
Other routine items on the agenda included a drainage report in which no new drainage issues were reported. The meeting proceeded to additional agenda items, including authorization to solicit bids for a separate soil correction project at the Rockwell facility.
