Library trustees reappoint Claire Goss as chair; officers approved unanimously

The Library Board of Trustees voted unanimously May 26 to keep Claire Goss as chair, Linda Weene as vice chair and Martha Coleman as secretary for the coming year. Lisa Uglialoro moved the slate and Bonnie Mitchell seconded; the motion passed without objection.
The vote came at the start of a regularly scheduled meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. Attendance was recorded for Chair Claire Goss and trustees Bonnie Mitchell, Linda Weene, Lisa Uglialoro and Martha Coleman, with Director Meena Jain and Assistant Director Lindsay Ward also present.
Trustees set the next meeting for June 30 at 7 p.m. and discussed a procedural question about how many signatures the town requires on biweekly budget reports; the board agreed to pilot the current three-signature process for a couple of months before revisiting it.
Lisa Uglialoro later moved to adjourn the meeting; Linda Weene seconded and the board adjourned unanimously at 8:49 p.m.
