The LCTCS Board of Supervisors approved the following notable actions on June 11, 2025:
- Agenda, minutes and consent agenda (items H.1–H.12): motion carried. - Academic and policy actions: approval of revisions to LCTCS policy 1.103 (Work Ready assessment), policy 9.001 (power-based violence and sexual misconduct) for review/advisement, policy 2.003 (campus safety and hazing), policy 2.004 (student conduct and appeals), and adoption of a new tuition-and-fees policy 2.023. - Facilities and property: authorized a right-of-way agreement with Atmos Energy for gas service at Louisiana Delta Community College’s West Monroe campus; accepted a land donation to Central Louisiana Technical Community College for a Gina campus; approved transfer of $763,319.97 in Act 360 funds at Delgado Community College to a culinary workforce project. - Finance and procurement: approved revisions to identity-theft prevention policy 5.028; amended and authorized legal-services contracts with Phelps Dunbar LLP; approved contracts for Illusion Experience and Instructure (Canvas) to support administrative and learning platforms. - Textbooks and student access: authorized first-day access contracts between each LCTCS college and Bibliu to provide inclusive access to course materials systemwide.
