Staff noted the grant covers a large federal share, citing project notes that list either an 80/20 or an 85/15 split for federal versus local shares; the project was placed on the March DOT letting with a late start date of July 20 and 20 working days to complete.
Airport runway: Airport committee members said contractor coordination and permitting are complete and that a runway overlay could occur as early as June pending asphalt plant scheduling and preconstruction work.
