Town administrator distributes budget updates, reports $278,000 tax deposit and schedules non-public negotiation

Town Administrator Kathryn Lynch handed out updated budget worksheets with actual expense figures and explained the need to populate the DRA MS-737 form with both Budget Committee and Select Board approved figures for submission to the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration. Lynch said she had forwarded NHMA Budget & Finance Workshop materials to the Budget Committee chair and vice chair for distribution.
Lynch distributed the Treasurer's financial sheets through Nov. 30, 2025 and reported that a $278,000 tax deposit had been made to the town that day. She told the Board she would convene a non-public session to discuss a negotiation; the Board entered non-public session at 6:29 p.m. under RSA 91-A:3 II(e) and reconvened at 6:40 p.m. The Board adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
Chairman Steve Diorio opened the meeting by announcing that Selectman Richard Johnson had passed away the previous night and the Board observed a moment of silence; Chief Evans later echoed that Johnson would be sorely missed.
