Select Board votes to unseal Hinsdale non-public minutes from 2018
Summary

The Hinsdale Select Board voted on March 23 to unseal a set of 2018 non-public minutes after a request from resident Ann Diorio.
Ann Diorio, reporting after reviewing minutes, recommended that all non-public minutes for 2018 be unsealed. Selectman William Hodgman moved to unseal the minutes dated Jan. 17, 2018 through Dec. 17, 2018; Jessica Green seconded the motion. The board voted with all members present (Diorio-aye; Carrier-aye; Hodgman-aye; Green-aye) to approve the unsealing.
Later in the meeting the board entered two non-public sessions under RSA 91:A-3, II(a) for personnel matters; both sessions were closed to the public and the board subsequently voted to seal those non-public minutes on the grounds that disclosure would adversely affect the reputation of persons other than board members. The second non-public session occurred after 7:14 p.m.; the meeting reconvened and adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
The board did not disclose details of the personnel discussions during public minutes; the meeting minutes state the records were sealed under the cited RSA provision.
