Hinsdale Select Board approves manifests, minutes and special-event alcohol permit; seals nonpublic minutes

At its Feb. 17 meeting the Hinsdale Select Board approved the Feb. 16 manifests and Feb. 9 minutes, approved an open-container permit for a March 14 baby shower, voted to enter and later seal a non-public personnel session, and adjourned at 6:56 p.m.
The Hinsdale Select Board convened at 6:00 p.m. on Feb. 17 and approved routine business, including the manifests of Feb. 16, 2026 and the public and non-public minutes of Feb. 9, 2026. Selectman Mike Carrier moved approval; Selectman Bernie Rideout seconded. The board voted Diorio-aye; Carrier-aye; Rideout-aye.
The board then approved an Open Container/Alcohol Permit from Kim Fortier for a baby shower at the Community Center on March 14, 2026. The motion to have the chair sign and approve the permit was moved by Carrier and seconded by Rideout and passed unanimously.
Later in the meeting the board voted to enter non-public session at 6:21 p.m. under RSA 91:A-3, II(a) (personnel) on a motion by Carrier, seconded by Rideout. The meeting reconvened at 6:55 p.m., and the board voted to seal the non-public minutes on the grounds that disclosure would likely adversely affect the reputation of a person other than a member of the public body. Selectman Rideout moved to adjourn at 6:56 p.m.; Selectman Carrier seconded and the motion carried.
