Board approves Bridges K–5 adoption, superintendent vacation cash-in and charter reappointments

The board approved the request by voice vote. The superintendent's daily rate cited in the record was $588.46, yielding a total payout of $7,061.52; the superintendent will retain accrued sick leave for emergency purposes as described in the agreement.
Keys Grace Academy reappointments: As the district's charter authorizer, the board approved reappointments to the Keys Grace Academy Board of Directors: Zameed Sabah to a two-year term and Ashley Redden to a three-year term. The motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Consent agenda: Earlier in the meeting the board approved the consent agenda, which included approval of minutes from the May 26, 2026 meeting, the May 2026 expenditures in the amount of $1,598,238.81, and the personnel report.
