Indian Springs Village council unanimously approves annexation of Ford parcel

The Town Council of Indian Springs Village on Tuesday unanimously approved an ordinance annexing a parcel petitioned by Tommy and Scott Ford into the town.
Wayne Jones, chairman of the town’s Planning and Zoning (PAZ) committee, and Scott Ford presented the petition for annexation for Parcel ID 10 8 28 0 001 0021.002 and told the council the parcel met the town’s annexation requirements. Councilmember Dale Elliott moved to approve the petition and the execution of the ordinance of annexation; Councilmember Van McClurkin seconded the motion, and the council voted with all members present in favor. Councilmember Ed Whatley was absent from the meeting.
The council did not record any conditions or amendments to the ordinance in the meeting minutes. The action was recorded as an executed ordinance of annexation in the minutes of the July 16 meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
