The Richland Parish School Board voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt the Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire for the year ended June 30, 2025, approve new information for the 2025–26 Pupil Progression Plan and receive a set of revised district policies.
Dr. Georgia Ineichen moved to approve publication of the Sept. 9, 2025 regular meeting minutes and the Oct. 9, 2025 special meeting minutes in the Official Journal; the motion was approved without opposition. Later, Rev. William Cleveland moved, seconded by Dr. Georgia Ineichen, to adopt the Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire; Mr. Reed Trisler moved, seconded by Rev. William Cleveland, to approve the new Pupil Progression Plan information. Both motions carried with all voting members in attendance voting yes and four members recorded as absent.
The policy package the board received includes revisions listed in the official proceedings: JDA‑25 (Corporal Punishment); GAAA‑25 (Equal Opportunity Employment); IDDF‑25B (Education of Students with Exceptionalities); IDDFC‑25 (Cameras in Special Education Classrooms); JAA‑25 (Equal Education Opportunities); and JD‑25 (Discipline). The transcript records the board as having "received" these revised policies and there is no separate recorded vote on each policy in the minutes.
Board members present who participated in the recorded motions were James Hough; Rev. William Cleveland; Mr. Chris Pruitt; Mr. Reed Trisler; and Dr. Georgia Ineichen. The minutes list Mrs. Marie Lewis, Mrs. Linda Jones, Mr. Scott McKay and Mrs. Emily Ogden as absent for these actions.
The actions complete administrative housekeeping and compliance reporting for the district; next steps in the transcript are routine record‑keeping (signatures and adjournment).
