Facility Maintenance Manager Chris Still reported the county completed an emergency repair to the warehouse fire service supply main, originally listed at $54,687.38, and said the quoted price has been reduced to $21,011.44; the board packet will be updated to reflect the lower figure.
Still also reviewed three bids for replacement of the jail boilers and identified a bid from Crawford and Company in the amount of $389,052.00. He noted the existing boilers are about 20 years old and that Wold Architects and Engineers assisted in evaluating the bids.
The transcript records staff review of the repair and bids but does not show formal award actions in the June 30 meeting.
