He also reviewed purchase of a 2027 Chevrolet Equinox for the Sheriff's Office from Karl Chevrolet for $34,224.98; a 2020 Ford Interceptor (asset #5430) will be reassigned to the county pool fleet and a 2010 Dodge Caravan (asset #1332) will be removed from service.
For heavy equipment, Garrow described buying a 2026 John Deere 624P wheel loader from Martin Equipment under a cooperative purchasing contract for a total of $212,000 after trade; the county plans to trade a 2007 John Deere 624J with a trade-in value of $55,000.
