Council accepts July financials and hears Ford Subdivision update

On Sept. 3, 2024, the Indian Springs Village Town Council accepted the July 2024 financials by unanimous vote and received a PAZ/ZBA update that the Ford Subdivision remains in progress while title-company documentation is obtained.
At its Sept. 3, 2024 meeting, the Indian Springs Village Town Council voted to accept the July 2024 financial statements. Councilmember Richard Harley moved to accept the financials and Councilmember Dale Elliott seconded; the minutes record the motion passed with all in favor.
"Financials—July 2024 were discussed and council member Harley made a motion to accept the financials, council member Elliott seconded the motion and with all in favor, the motion was passed," the minutes state.
The council also received a progress report on the Ford Subdivision from Wayne Jones during the PAZ/ZBA reports. Jones reported that the Ford Subdivision is still in progress and that staff or applicants are working on obtaining documentation from a title company to move the matter forward.
Earlier on the agenda, the council approved and dispensed with the reading of the minutes for the Aug. 20, 2024 regular meeting after a motion by Councilmember Dale Elliott and a second from Councilmember Herb Robins; the vote was unanimous.
Mayor Brenda Bell-Guercio called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; the meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m. The minutes were submitted by Town Clerk Vickie Lewis.
