Manager Malzahn told the council one letter of interest had been received. Stockton attended the meeting and council members asked her a series of interview questions on the record. No appointment vote occurred; councilmembers said they will make a final decision at the April 6 council meeting.
The interview was procedural; council took no formal action to appoint a replacement on March 23 and directed staff to place the matter on the April 6 agenda.
