Councilmember Redman moved to authorize Malzahn to sign the agreement; Bell seconded. The roll-call vote recorded Redman, Bell, Edwards and Wilson voting yes and the motion carried 4-0.
Council then approved Amended Resolution #03/2026 to submit an appropriations request to Representative McClain (motion by Redman; seconded by Edwards; roll-call votes recorded and motion carried 4-0). Council also approved Resolution #05/2026 to submit an appropriations request to Senator Gary Peters (motion by Edwards; seconded by Bell; roll-call vote recorded and motion carried 4-0) and Resolution #06/2026 to submit an appropriations request to Senator Elissa Slotkin (motion by Bell; seconded by Wilson; roll-call vote Bell, Wilson, Redman and Edwards — motion carried 4-0).
