The Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors reviewed and approved claims totaling $207,406.92 at its June 23 meeting. The minutes list numerous vendors and line items, including utilities (City-Pocahontas $4,849.52), equipment purchases (Poky Equip $20,473.22; KC Nielsen $13,900.00), grant payments (Cadys Esthetics $4,000.00; Miller Bros $2,500.00), and county services and supplies.
Supervisor Kyle Smith moved to approve claims as presented; the motion carried with all supervisors voting in favor. The minutes provide a vendor-level claims list; they do not break the total into department-by-department budgets within the minutes. The auditor’s office maintains the detailed claims records and can provide additional documentation on request.
The board also recorded weekly reports and raised a drainage concern under supervisor business; an economic development staffing note followed before the meeting was adjourned.
