At the June 11 Select Board meeting Finance Director Kristin McNulty reviewed the town's new ERP system (MUNIS) implementation and the timeline for modules. The finance module is live for invoice workflow: department heads will upload invoices to the system, the Finance Office will review them, and final approval remains with the Town Manager and Select Board members, replacing the previous DocuSign process.
McNulty outlined the scheduled rollouts: the tax module is expected to go live in early September; motor vehicle modules next; human resources and payroll are planned for January; and utility billing is targeted for April. Staff training, dashboard features and KPI visualizations for the Select Board were described; McNulty was recognized for training that helped staff adopt the new system.
Town officials said full implementation is expected to provide public access to budget and payment transparency features by late 2026. Finance and IT staff will continue to support the rollout and address issues that arise; the Select Board will retain final approval authority over payments under the new workflow.
